Argan oil is pressed from the kernel of the Argania spinosa tree — a species that grows almost nowhere else on earth. Kernels are hand-cracked to release the seeds, which are then cold-pressed at below 26°C to preserve the full fatty acid profile: oleic acid, linoleic acid, vitamin E, and phenolic antioxidants that give the oil its barrier-repair and anti-inflammatory properties.

The oil in every Bouyaik bottle is first cold-press grade. Not a trace ingredient at the bottom of a formula. Not diluted with carrier oils to cut costs. The entire base is argan oil — everything else is built around it.

SPF products are one of the most avoided categories in skincare. Greasy feel, white cast, short wear time — most people apply them occasionally rather than daily. Ayoub and Lauren Malki wanted one that felt like skincare, not like something you endure before walking outside.

The Argan Oil + SPF 50 formula was developed and blended here, in Jefferson City, Missouri. Small batches. Real outdoor testing through a Missouri summer. If it did not hold up on a Saturday morning at the farmers market, it did not leave the kitchen.

Small batch is not a marketing term here. It means we make what we can fulfill, fresh, in quantities that let us control every step. No warehouse. No formula compromises to hit a production minimum. The oil in your bottle was pressed recently and blended recently — that matters for an oil-based product.

When you buy at the market, you can ask exactly what is in the bottle. We will tell you, because we know. Same way we will tell you which batch it came from, and when it was made.
